Good day to you all! It was the House Inaugural function - We had time to learn a new song and refresh on lessons learnt. We first refreshed what was discussed from the last class. Then we learnt a new bhajan song for Shiva as the kids were part of Arjuna Arrows House. Below are the lyrics from the song - Please help then p[ractise the new Bhajan  - Also, when we learnt the song, we talked about the meaning of each verse. Below are the lyrics for the song:

Stance 1:

After the bhajan learnt, we talked about how we all go to school. Hundreds of years ago - these were called Gurukulas. Just like we go to school, children went to a gurukula. They stayed their with their teacher and learnt. We talked about a gurukula in the forest of Naimisharanya - and a sage called Shaunaka Rishi lived there with many of his disciples. Every morning, they got up and did a fire ritual - a yagna. We wrapped up with gurustostram verses 1 and 2. 

Then, we got ready for House inaugural function - We refreshed ourselves on what will be done. The kids got ready to make no fire modaks and enjoyed their times.
