Deepavali/ Diwali festival discussion.
How did you celebrate diwali was the question asked.  Kids came up with what they did with their family. Most of them played with sparklers, Lighted Diyas, attended the family pooja, Ate sweets like besan ke laddu, kaju katli, attended or hosted diwali parties, made rangoli designs and handcrafted diyas.
For the question "why do we celebrate the Diwali".., they all answered in chorus, "to welcome Rama and sita after 14 years of the vanvasa, by lighting diyas all over the Ayodhya.
What do we do before performing the Lakshmi Pooja?
The answers include, cleaning our homes and decorating them nicely and also making prasada.
