Welcome to our Grade 4 class, a quick recap of what was covered today. Today was the 10th Session of our class.
We all met in our classroom -- "Kesava" and after everyone sat down we said our Opening prayers.
Opening Prayers: We all sat straight, criss-cross, hands folded, chanted together 3 Oms, then Sahana Vavatu, Ganesha Slokha -Vakra Tunda, Saraswathi Slokha- Saraswathi Namasthubayam, and Guru Slokha - Guru Brahma.
Today, each of the prayers was led by the students of the class.
Sloka Chanting: Mahamrityunjaya Mantra - we learned this mantra and chanted it a few times.
Krishnashtakam- We together chanted Sri Krishnashtakam. Students of the class led this.
We then meditated for 5 min and did a few Pranayamas.
Bala Bhagavatam
We discussed Krishna's pastime and focused on the death of Aghasura and Brahmaji's moha bhanga.

Given the dire situation, we had a fascinating discussion on what the parent Pigeon could have done. We also played out the best and the worst outcomes and how one should have acted with courage and responsibility.
These children did 11 Surya Namaskar. This was then followed by self-evaluation of their knowledge of mantras. This was then peer-reviewed for accuracy. Please check the self-assessment card that was handed over to your child and please consider helping them learn the mantra's that they dont know during the winter break. We would ideally like to see all green circles.

After this, we all did our closing prayers.
We had an interesting class today and all the kids participated very well, enjoying the Leelas of Krishna with a lot of interest. Class slides (link) will also be shared in the WhatsApp group.
