Today's class was highly interactive and quiz-oriented, making it an engaging experience for the students.

Indian Spices and Health:
Began by showing pictures of various spices and asked the students to guess their names. Unfortunately, most students could identify only a few spices. I encouraged them to assist their parents during trips to Indian grocery stores, as this could help them learn the names and uses of different spices. We also discussed the health benefits of each spice. Additionally, we explored the 'Samudra Manthan' story, emphasizing its significance in Sanatana Dharma.

Indian Food and Clothing:
- Food: Students were surprised to learn that foods are categorized as 'Sattvic', 'Rajasic', and 'Tamasic'. One student was particularly unhappy to discover that meat and pizza fall under the 'Tamasic' category.
- Clothing: We displayed pictures of traditional Indian clothing and asked the students to identify them. Similar to the spices, they recognized only a few, highlighting an area for further learning.

Dances of India:
Students were introduced to various traditional Indian dance forms. Although they were unfamiliar with many of these, they showed great enthusiasm in learning about them and their cultural significance.

Thank you,
Sachin and Sirisha
