Hari om everyone,
Here is the last synopsis of the year. As always, we started the class with meditation and chanting Geeta Ch. 5.
Couldn't believe that we were wrapping up another year of fun and learning! It was an amazing year, filled with many memorable moments, lots of laughter, and oodles of learning 😊.
Sure enough, today was no different! Wanted to quiz our students on what they had learnt and could recollect. The class was divided into three teams — Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara. We had a quiz on topics from BG Chapters 1-6, with many multiple-choice questions. Our students were zeroing in on the answers wonderfully!
After a few questions, I realized there was an issue... I had written long sentences for the correct answers and short phrases for the wrong choices! Our smart students were quick to catch on to the pattern and started picking the answers even before reading the question! 🫣🤭 So, had to get creative on the spot... The new quiz pattern was — they had to justify their answers 😄.
In the process, we had lots of laughter and discussions. We had some deep conversations, like the 'sat-chit-aananda' aspect of consciousness, to some silly ones like how I failed at cooking up wrong answers. Overall, we ended the year on a high note 😊.
We will be seeing everyone one last time this year for the Graduation Ceremony of our Seniors who will be going off to college this Fall. It will be on this Saturday, June 14th, at 11:00 AM.
Everyone, please be there on time. Our seniors will give inspiring speeches about their Bala Vihar experiences and receive advice and blessings from Swamiji, too.
