We are delighted to welcome you and your children to the BalaVihar class for the 2024-25 academic year. We look forward to a year filled with learning, spiritual growth, and connection to our rich cultural heritage. Below is an overview of the curriculum we will be covering this year:
- Ramayana by Rajgopal Ji – A retelling of the Ramayana, where children will learn the timeless lessons from the life of Lord Rama.
- Chanting of Nama Ramayana – We will practice chanting the Nama Ramayana, enhancing the children's connection to this sacred text.
- Chanting of Bhagavad Gita – 5th Chapter – We will learn 5th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita (29 verses)
For your convenience, you can purchase the Ramayana by Rajgopal Ji through the following link: Buy the book here. While this is not mandatory, we encourage kids having the book and reading the chapters each week that are covered in the class.
Please ensure that your child arrives on time for each class and comes prepared with the following materials:
- Prayer Book ( available in the ashram's book store)
- Balavihar Handbook ( already given to the kids in the class on Friday)
- A notebook and a pencil/pen for Likhita Japa
