We started with 3 OMs followed by the opening prayer "Sahanavatu" and led the kids to lead Ganesha, Saraswati and Guru shlokas.
We moved to chant the 1st & 2nd verses of Gītā dhyānam. We continued the Mahabharata quiz pages which we couldn't finish last time. Randomly picked the below scenes to have the kids explain what is the story of those scenes and characters:

Before war when Duryodhana and Arjun went to meet Krishna and what they asked from Krishna. Arjuna requested only Krishna to be with Pandavas; Duryodhana asked for army - explained the Vedantic aspect as how material aspect of asking army destroyed Kauravas vs Arjuna's request of Krishna - the divine be with pandavas led them Win.
Discussed about Vyasa & Ashwathama conversation on Bharmastra while Arjuna revoked and why Ashwathama couldn't revoke. Also discussed about the difference between astra vs shastra .
It was time for us to start with House sorting for our kids. So we had one by one either go to lobby or using our phone to take the house sorting quiz. While kids were taking quiz, we continued to discuss the Mahabharata stories from where we left of from the last class.
Also we did a brainstorming on "what does God do?" Many viewpoints were shared by the kids. Even kids were get to a point on how we get punished based on the actions (Karma) we take.. it was an amazing discussion in which the whole class participated. This week Gita chanting started with pronunciation video. We practiced that and with closing prayer, all of us went to Aarti.
