Hari Om! Parents,
We are very happy to welcome your children to Bala Vihar Grade 6 class! We are Rashmi and Sangeetha, your child's teachers for this year.
We will be covering the second half of the Mahabharata story this year, along with several interesting topics on India, The Sacred Land.
Week 1 Update
The first day of class began with opening prayers. The children introduced themselves and shared their summer experiences.
Class expectations were shared with the children. No food or drinks are allowed, your child can bring a water bottle. No use of cellphones or smart watches during class.
We want your child to enjoy and participate in class, but they must not disrupt it.
Please ensure that your child has the following things in their Bala Vihar bag before coming to class:
My Prayers book, this year's Bala Vihar Handbook, lined Notebook for likhita japa, sharpened pencils, eraser, and markers/colored pencils.
Please get both the Mahabharata Junior Workbook #1 and #2 from the Ashram Bookstore, we will be using them throughout the year.
