Hari om everyone,
This week, our students got to be on the other side of the table and become teachers for a day :). Teachers from different grades gave them the topics and material to be taught beforehand. Then the class was taught entirely by our JCHYKs with thorough preparation.
It is one of the most awaited days at Bala Vihar for everyone every year. The summary below, based on the reports from teachers of all grades, gives an insight into why everyone enjoys it.
The JCHYKs demonstrated exceptional dedication and enthusiasm while teaching and engaging students across different grades. Their sessions were well-prepared, interactive, and thoughtfully designed to keep students interested. They successfully conveyed important lessons through a variety of creative methods, including games, quizzes, storytelling, hands-on activities, and lively discussions.
The younger children particularly enjoyed engaging story sessions and crafts, while older students benefited from thought-provoking discussions on values, duties, and life stages, with real-life examples making the lessons more relatable. Many classes featured unique learning experiences, such as Jeopardy games on the Mahabharata, interactive activities on the three gunas, and insights into Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda ji's teachings.
Teachers expressed their deep appreciation for the JCHYKs' commitment, preparation, and ability to connect with the students. Their sessions were not only educational but also highly enjoyable, leaving a lasting impact on the children. In fact, many of the younger students were so engaged and inspired that they asked for the JCHYKs to return to their classes for more sessions.
