Hari Om,

We started class with 3 Om and opening prayer.

We did try and memorize the opening and closing Prayers.

we did did start our class with the Quiz.

We did start with a fun quiz series through which we did re capped our chapters. So this way all kids are updates and kids pay more attention during the class while we teach.

 

Chapter 30

Vibhíshana seeks refuge with Rama after rejecting his brother Ravan's evil ways. ​Rama responds to Vibhisana request with kindness and acceptance. ​ Despite Sugríva's suspicion and the mixed opinions of the vanara leaders, Rama decides to grant refuge to Vibhisana. Sugríva distrusts Vibhisana because he is the brother of Ravan, their enemy. ​ Sugríva fears that Vibhisana might be a spy who could leak their secrets to Ravan. ​ He also questions Vibhishana's loyalty, pointing out that he has already fought against his own brother, which raises concerns that he might betray them as well.​

Hanuman explains that Lord Brahspati also trusts Vibhishna, he came here to seek Lord Rama shelter, he did try his best to expalin his brother . But Ravan in all his anger and ego is not able to understand the situation. We should trust Vibhishana and help him.

Rama explains that it is against his nature and Dharma to turn away anyone who seeks shelter. ​ Rama states, “Even if Ravan himself was to seek refuge with Me, I would not deny him. ​ I would gladly embrace him in love.” He emphasizes that Vibhíisana had a valid reason for leaving Ravan and would have no reason to betray them. ​ Ultimately, Rama welcomes Vibhisana and his companions, performs a simple abhiçeka, and crowns Vibhisana the King of Lanka.

Rama prays to the sea god for help crossing the ocean. ​ When the sea god refuses to go against his nature, he suggests Nala, a skilled engineer, lead the construction of a bridge. ​ The vanaras enthusiastically build the bridge using simple materials, chanting Rama’s name. ​ The bridge is completed in five days.

We did learn about how writing name of Rama saved the rock to sink at the bottom. 

ACTIVITY

Kids enjoyed doing a word search puzzle on the qualities of Rama .

We did play few games like Jumping yognas like monkey. We practiced the Khate bhi Ram kaho bahjan. 

We did our Coloring Bal Ramayan book and the Likhita gapa too.

We would encourage all kids to share that they learned in class with parents that helps them remember more.
